MEET THE TEAM

Gabrielle "Abby" Dean, LICSW, MPH​

Abby is the Clinical Director of the Right Turn Addiction Treatment Center.  She's designed and run many addiction recovery programs including a residential program for opiate-addicted women and their children and a women’s program in Dorchester, MA. 

We're proud to have been the team behind the 2014 and 2015 National Association of Social Workers Media Award for BEST RADIO PROGRAM, and we'll continue to bring accessible, balanced, and authoritative information to our audience.

Jon Cohan, CADC


Jon has over ten years of experience in the treatment of substance use and mental health disorders. He provides substance use treatment, family addiction therapy, and treatment consultation at his private practice in Concord, MA and works as a therapist and family counselor at Right Turn Addiction Services in Watertown, MA. Jon is also a recovering professional musician, producer, and drum tech with over 150 recording credits to his name. He has published three books and many magazine articles about drumming.

Jill Ruby, BA, MA

Jill has developed and produced television and radio for Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, PBS, A&E, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Court TV, OLN, HGTV, Discovery Health Channel, WTKK Boston, and WRKO Boston. She holds a Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
